Before Filming.

Before we begin filming, we have to fully schedule when everyone in our group and everyone who is acting for us can also film. We also need to decide who is doing the filming at certain parts, and we need to make a script. During the film trailer, the script won't be too in depth, as most film trailers don't have much dialogue, which creates a sense of unknown which makes the audience want to watch the film that is coming out. We want to create an atmosphere of suspense, tension and horror through our film trailer to entice the audience. Therefore we all need to establish a 'horror-esque' script for our trailer.

RE: Filming Schedule.

Our filming schedule has been set back as we have to work around all three of us working. We need to get in touch with our cast and then arrange times that we will be able to film. this will be posted in due course.

LIONSGATE films

The closest product to our trailer is the Saw films. These films were generated by a production company called LIONSGATE films. It is the next big film production company that has a major presence in the production of movies, television programs, home entertainment and video on demand.
The production companies most successful product is a film called "Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail" which made $41 million in its opening weekend. Other massive box office hits are My Bloody Valentine 3D, Religious Forbidden Kingdom, Rambo, The Bank Job and The Saw Films. LIONSGATE has made, produced and distributed over 12,000 different films and television titles that serves as the foundation for the growth of the company's business.

Mise en Scene

The other day we went out and took pictures of the location we intend on using for our film trailer. We decided to use a public bridleway which is eerie and enclosed by trees and walls. The bridleway will be the place where the girl walks up as if she is walking home. We have used one of our houses to mark her house in the trailer. The bus stop will be used to wear the clown will be sat waiting for the girl with leaflets for the circus. We are also using a garage which has a dark ambience to it and will be a sinister setting once added with the characters and music etc. We found these locations convenient and suitable as they are near where we all live, this will make it easy to film and more accessible at many different times.

Casting

For our casting we did a series of auditions for the various parts of the circus freaks and the main protaganist. We made a decision to use a 16 year old girl called Hazel Cooper who has previous acting experience, we decided to dismiss another girl due to lack of acting experience. For our circus freaks we have decided to use Bradley from our group as we couldn't find a suitable candidate. Bradley will play the part of the main clown, a girl called Chloe who will play another circus freak. We still have to cast one more circus freak and the girls friends, however this should be easy to do as they won't have any speaking parts.

Cast List

Clown - Bradley Judge

Girl - Hazel Cooper
